This book was from 1956, so, the cover would be not expected to be in "brand new" condition, but, I placed a book cover over it and it will be a present to my 8-yr old granddaughter who somehow LOVES snakes. I had MANY "All About Books" when I was her age in the early 1950s, and was extremely happy to discover this book! The book EXACTLY matched what I thought it was and happily met all my expectations! (Now, if I could only find "All About Chemistry!" LOL)
